PB-1436. See pic\'92s Pins 13 and 14 have two wires. Solder them together and insulate. Insulate the single wire from pin 15. Tuck out of way they will no longer be used. You can label wires making this an easy modification to undo.\ \ 4) Top of the radio back of the \'93select\'94 switch. Cut orange wire, see pic\'92s, approximately 1 1/4 in. Move aside for future hook up. Pull bottom part of orange wire that you just cut through grommet that leads to the Mode switch. Re-rout this orange wire underneath band switch and solder to pin 4 of the pre-mix board. PB-1433 with the two blu/ white wires. The wire will be just long enough.\ \ 5) See pic\'92s! Cut jumper wires or straps with orange heat shrink. Just cut the top end that is easy to get to. Move away so they can not touch anything. This will expose four lugs on this switch we will be using to select filters. Pin 2 is not yet tinned! From left to right.\ \ 6) Prepare three 13 inch 22 gauge wires. (different colors). Run these three wires through the Grommet that you pulled the orange wire out of. It is easier to do the switch first. One contact has not been tinned. Tin it now. #2 Solder the three wires from left to right, looking at the front of the radio. At this time solder the orange wire you moved aside to the coax ground on the corner of the \'93Fix Unit\'94 PB-1447 It is real close.\ \ 7) At this time perform Elcon mods to the filter board, or not, but the diode that is in some units on the trace side, NOT component side of the filter board has to be removed! It is the only one and runs across the board side of the AM filter. An alignment of this board is good idea but not mandatory. Alignment of the individual boards is available in the Elcon library. You are done on top. Replace the filter board and cover.\ \ 8) Fish remaining three wires you installed through grommet under band switch and through wiring loom until they are at pins 13, 14 and 15 of the receptacle for the filter board, PB-1436. See pic\'92s Attend to lead dress at this time and cut to length so wires line up with pins 13, 14 and 15. At this time you can select what order you want to cycle through the filters by the order you solder on the new wires. Pin 13 is SSB, pin 14 is AM and pin 15 is CW.\ \ We are currently working on a better filter selection.}
